Mt. Yabra is one of the high peaks in the Langtang Region of Nepal and is group ‘A’ categorized climbing peak according to Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The peak is situated proudly at the elevation of 6,035 meters above sea level and is considered as the rarely climbed peak of all the time. According to the climbing history of the peak, about 10 attempts are made for climbing this peak, which was officially permitted and issued as a climbing peak in late 2002. Keeping in mind about the historical background of the peak, you can explore around the completely unfrequented trail and peak while making a journey onto it, with lots of new experiences, explorations, and discoveries.
However, being one of the rarely climbed peaks, some technical difficulties, and challenges, for sure, arises during your peak climbing trip. Hence, it is a most to have some peak climbing experience and long trekking experiences before heading towards this journey along with physical and mental fitness. Trekking Route
Yabra Peak Climbing trip can be or more starts with a comfortable drive to Syabru Besi, from where you can start trekking. Yabra trek from Syabru Besi follows the way passing through Lama Hotel, Langtang, Kyanjing Gompa, Yabra Peak Base Camp (4,900 meters), Yabra High Camp (5,500 meters), Advanced Camp (5,700 meters) and finally the summit of the peak, at the elevation of 6,035 meters. However, according to record in this peak, one or more attempt may be required to step onto the summit of the peak. However, you can enjoy the mesmerizing and gazing panoramic views of mountain vistas all around, providing the feeling for yourself as the grandeur of the world.
Furthermore, the descending trail from the summit of the peak heads downward to base camp and continuing the trek following Kyanjin Gompa, Lama Hotel, Thulo Syabru and finally Dhunche, from where a comfort drive will take you back to Kathmandu valley.
