Jhor Waterfall (Jharana)

Jhor Waterfall is a beautiful destination within Kathmandu valley which is one of the renowned waterfalls located in Tokha Mahankal of Kathmandu valley just at the distance of 11 kilometers away from Ring Road (Samakhusi Chowk). Jhor Mahankal is the remote and non-developed bordered village between Kathmandu and Nuwakot district. The beautiful village sits in the lap of Shivapuri National Park with suitable temperature and beautiful sceneries. It costs only Rs.30 to reach there as a fare excluding students or other types of discount. Talking about the main attraction of the place, Jhor Jharana (waterfall) falls down from the hill of forest and there is also a small shrine desiccated to Lord Shiva.
