Located on heart of the capital of Nepal Kathmandu, Kathmandu Durbar Square is the old Royal palace of the Kathmandu. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. All which are UNESCO world heritage sites. The Kathmandu Durbar Square held the places of the Malla & Shah Kings who rulled over the city.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is crowed by most of the teenager and lots of photographer who are always busy taking photographs. Besides that there is a museum with the antique collections of ancient Shah & Rana rulers. It’s really a nice place for those who wants to explore the ancient history of Nepal.

    kathmandu durbar square was full of great architecture and history.unfortunately the earthquake took its toll and a lot of the buildings are scaffolded There is a charge of 1000 rupees for foreigners . Overall just worth the effort and price.

    emple within the Durbar square of kathmandu palace , this is specifically built to watch the ancient city for good reason. The reason is to find out early morning why there is no smoke coming from the individual house. In old days each and every one cook food on wood fire, when no smoke that mean no cooking. The Ancient king want to know all his people are well feeds and everyone is happy.
    The temple is also known as ninth floor palace, this temple still stand tall in this area n now part of museum to see the view of old city.
