Kyazo Ri Peak Climbing

Mt. Kyazo Ri (also known as Kyajo RI), situated proudly at the elevation of 6,151 meters above sea level is one of the high peaks in Mahalangur of Everest Region of Nepal. NMA has listed this peak as Group ‘A’ category of peak climbing in Nepal and was officially opened for the climber in 2002. As very few mountaineers have attempted to climb the peak, this peak climbing trip offers various unexplored routes to explore, which in fact is best for adventure seekers. exploring unfrequented trail and trekking through off the beaten trail make the journey much challenging and thrilling too but offers a new and unique adventure that anyone in their whole life can rarely take.

Kyazo Ri Peak trekking trail follows the trail through the majestic Thame valley and Gokyo valley in Khumbu Region. However, Kyazo Ri peak is challenging and technically difficult peak to climb and hence requires some peak climbing or long trekking experiences and physical fitness is the most for every higher elevation trips. The peak is most beautiful and gorgeous having the sharp-edged summit and this amazing summit provides mesmerizing views of Mt. Cho Oyu (eighth highest peak in the world) and the vast expanse of Tibet. Because of being challenging peak to climb, there are two high camps placed with deep study after base camp before summing the peak.

Trekking Route

Kyazo Ri Peak Climbing journey starts with a comforting flight towards Lukla from Kathmandu valley as usual in Khumbu Region trip in Nepal. From Lukla, trekking trail passes through Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dole passing through Khumjung, Machermo and finally Kyazo Ri Base Camp. From base camp, climb the Camp I first which is much challenging than your previous trail up to base camp. After some rest in Camp I, climb towards Camp II and finally summit the peak at the elevation of 6,151 meters. You will have breathtaking excitement of being or touching the summit and mesmerizing views all around. Furthermore, from the summit, trek back to camp II and follow the trail passing Machhermo, Namche Bazaar and finally back to Lukla. From Lukla, a scenic flight will take you back to Kathmandu valley.
